The initiative showcased natural raw materials, biomaterials, and functional design pieces born from industry waste. The designers participating in the exhibition embraced their responsibility by presenting changes to outdated production and consuming processes. The projects exhibited follow the key elements for a circular design approach: the use of regenerative resources, the reduction of carbon emissions and the repurposing of waste materials. Furthermore, designers presented designs that go beyond the experimental, project, and simply functional phases, showing how circular design can also be elegant and up-scale.
